Getting started is simple. You can book online or call our friendly team, who will be happy to answer any questions and find a convenient appointment time for you.
2. Welcome to the Practice
On arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our reception team. We’ll help you complete a short medical history form (if you haven’t already done this online) and make sure you feel comfortable and at ease.
3. Comprehensive Examination
Your dentist will take time to listen to your concerns and understand your goals. We’ll carry out a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and overall oral health, which may include digital X-rays and photographs where necessary.
4. Personalised Treatment Plan
We’ll clearly explain our findings and discuss your treatment options in detail. You’ll receive a tailored treatment plan with transparent pricing, so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

Your first visit includes a comprehensive dental examination. We’ll discuss your dental history, any concerns you may have, and your smile goals. The dentist will carry out a full assessment of your teeth and gums, which may include X-rays or photographs, before providing a personalised treatment plan.
A new patient appointment typically lasts between 30–60 minutes, depending on your individual needs.
Please bring a list of any medication you are currently taking and details of your medical history. If you have dental insurance, bring your policy information as well.

My son had an appointment with aoife, she was absolutely amazing. Made myself and my son feel at ease as soon as we entered. The receptionist was lovely and very accommodating. Very clean surgery and professional staff. I would highly recommend murphy dental!!!!

I had an extraction friday last with Aoife,it fought her all the way😂...very easy and absolutely painless,went a bit downhill over the weekend (my own fault) saw kevin the following monday and again i was treated with great professionalism,very happy and painfree now,special mention to the receptionist for ringing me back and booking me in when she didnt have too.Great chat with louise the dental nurse,nice relaxed atmosphere,well done everyone,thanks again Aoife and Kevin.
